Tanzania Awards 3.6–3.8 GHz Licences to Boost 5G Rollout and Broadband Expansion

On 10 July 2025, the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority awarded four 50 MHz blocks in the 3.6–3.8 GHz band for 5G services. Licences run for 15 years with obligations to cover six regions by 2028 and all regional capitals by 2033.
